Xiaomi officially announced Redmi Note 7, the first smartphone from its new sub-brand. It looks very similar to Mi Play and the novelty received the same body with gradient glass panels and a drop-shaped notch.
In size, Redmi Note 7 turned out to be larger. It is equipped with a 6.3-inch LTPS-display, powered by eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660, supplemented by 3, 4 or 6 GB of RAM. The amount of internal memory can be 32 or 64 GB. There is the possibility of expansion with the help of cards microSD. The capacity of the built-in battery is 4000 mAh which supports Quick Charge 4.0.
Its main advantage is having of the device is the dual main camera with the main sensor of 48 megapixels. The size of each pixel of the matrix is only 0.8 microns, but by combining four neighboring pixels, the camera allows you to get high-quality 12-megapixel images with a high level of detail. Additional sensor – 5 MP is fixed for AI portrait mode. Redmi Note 7 received an IR transmitter, a headphone jack, a fingerprint scanner, and support for dual-band Wi-Fi a / b / g / n / ac, but the NFC chip is not stated in the specifications. It is based on Android 8.1 Oreo with MIUI 10 shell.
Note that this is the first model introduced in the brand Redmi by Xiaomi. That is, now the proprietary line of inexpensive smartphones is allocated in a separate division. Initially, Redmi Note 7 arrives in China and then spread to the global market. The prices for Redmi Note 7 are as follows:
