SanDisk this time wanted to exaggerate with its microSD. Presenting its new memory card for smartphones and tablets at MWC 2019, has announced two new models that are able to meet the needs of all users. Even the most voracious of space came the new microSD SanDisk Extreme to 512 GB and 1 TB.
These are UHS-I memory cards with a very high capacity but, above all, equipped with the latest technologies for data transfer. Taking a cue from the 400 GB model launched last year, these new Extreme series microSDs also support Class 3 ( U3 ), Video Speed Class 30 ( V30 ) and Application Performance Class 2 ( A2 ) standards, with read speeds up to 160 MB / s and writing up to 90 MB / s.
All this allows a greater speed for data transfer and also greater performance for video recording, so you can shoot in 4K at high frame rates on smartphones and drones, without any problem in terms of fluency of the images.
In addition, the new microSD is very resistant, have the certification for waterproofing, and are compatible with the RescuePRO Deluxe software, which allows you to recover damaged or accidentally deleted data.
The official prices announced by SanDisk during MWC 2019 relate to the US market ranging from $199.99 for the 512 GB card up to $449.99 for the 1TB card, which is configured as the largest microSD in the world. The availability in the US will start in April, while there is still no precise information for the Indian market.
